Arc Infrastructure is once again teaming up with the Constable Care Foundation to offer the Rail Safety Week competition. This year we are offering:
- Primary schools based in the Perth metro area the chance to win a free excursion to the Constable Care Safety School in Maylands, and
- Primary schools based in Bunbury and Kalgoorlie the chance to win a free incursion from Constable Care
Arc is committed to ensuring the safety of the communities that surround the freight rail network and is a proud partner of the Constable Care Foundation.
Since 2024 Arc has sponsored more than 50 free excursions to the Safety School, and this year we’re excited to deliver the “On the Road” program to expand our offering further into the regions, with the intention of offering the competition to different regions each year.
Constable Care Safety School excursions and incursions provide children with hands-on experience in a realistic urban environment, helping them learn vital safety skills across road, rail, pedestrian, bike, and public transport scenarios.
From today, we invite primary schools to submit an entry. Each school that enters also gets $100 off a future Safety School booking.
Arc Infrastructure Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Unwin thanked the Constable Care Foundation and encouraged schools to enter.
"We're proud to support Rail Safety Week by partnering with the Constable Care Safety School to offer this exciting opportunity for primary schools.
“This year we’re excited to expand the competition to be more accessible to schools in the regions. Our network has a significant regional footprint and it’s important that schools in the regions have the same opportunity to access rail safety education.
“By engaging children early, we help them understand how to stay safe around the rail network, building lifelong habits that protect them and others. This initiative is a fun and meaningful way to empower the next generation with the knowledge they need to keep themselves safe around rail," Stephanie said.
The competition closes on 9 August, and winners will be announced on 12 August 2026.
